YAY..its weekend again...and Saturday ...
party time I guess..lots of graduation parties around the corner...I am going to one tonight ...one of our family friends daughter is graduating this year and going to Med-School
...lets hope she come up with flying colors...its Party time...

 this is very close to my heart!
when I saw this movie I was in tears...so much suffering and misery....I couldn't sleep whole night thinking about it...followed by headaches and nausea...But every phase teaches us something ..and movies are actually made or picked up from realities!
 I pray sincerely..nobody should get this kind of suffering in life.....
Hritik Roshan...a great Indian actor and a very very good dancer,with Miss world Ashwariya Rai..(pride of India) as female artist....Done a fabulous job....
movies made on realities where we learn something how life changes in  spur of moment!everything is there but cannot enjoy,its a waste now..that what it says..you never know whats in store for you!

its one of my fav songs again........some sweet memories from the past....we are at the end of the week..its friday...what a beautiful song...sung by Indian legend Mohammed Rafi...and Dev Anand as Superstar of yesteryear.

hilarious!

we were at a party..it was with some close friends..and some relatives..after dinner we had singing programme and everbody settled on the carpet...
men one side and ladies on other...the game was all couple had to answer each other in a form of a song...

we had one couple who had some ongoing problems in their relation ship..we all knew about that....now it was mrs B's turn to sing a song for her husband which was" Tumko Piya Dil diya"and everbody smiled at this song..

when it came to Mr B...he sang this song in reply..."man mera ehsan "which was hilarious...I some how managed to locate these songs......

this is what happens when relationships gets sour!.( it happened at a valentine party)

Radio channel!

we recently had a new radio channel ..10:90 AM ..probably the first one to have all Hindi songs twenty four hours a day ..Its very new; just three months old .... I came to know from one of our friends..I have it in my car ..listening to whole new and old songs while driving....I was coming from work it was raining ..and the song that these guys played was..from an old movie.."zindigai bhar nahi bhoolegi woh barsaat ki raat"I smiled and thought are they putting purposely looking at the weather...its nice..even if its done intentionally...

This channel is started by some lady from Toronto ..presumably a Pakistani...but the songs are from Indian and Pakistani movies...some Punjabi songs too...there are some songs and ghazals I never knew...basically its all by requests of people...
Now the reason I am mentioning this was the people have all praises for Indian songs ..their old favorites songs sung by mohmmed rafi and lata mangeshkar...and the Indians who are requesting have all praises for Pakistani singers..Nusratfateh ali songs,noorjahan,shamshad begum...the shyiari etc....its like reciprocal ..all love against each other...
Today I was driving at work...I thought "see how these country people are all praises for each other "songs and requests ..knowing the culture so well...But back home..scenario is different...is it politically motivated there?
so much has been written on India and Pakistan...the whole world knows about it...
why cant we change our thinking...and create love for each other like this!!

...weekend ,while coming on my way back I stopped by an Indian store to get some indian music..as I entered ,the Guy greeted me ..I looked around for some MP3 and a nook caught my eye..$1.80.. I looked at the CDs ..asked the boy...Do you have punjabi songs too..??? he said NO..they don't sell anymore..people download them from net .. I was like OK.. ..then picking up a CD I looked ,it said "Best of 2001 to 2009"..I asked him what kinda songs are there..??nothing is written on it..he said ..Mam it has 134 songs we cannot list all of them ....I asked ..is it pirated???..he said,NO..its copied from original high quality CD ..not from net..

Shrinking my brows I looked at him ..he laughed ..what?? he said ..now if you wanna have a nice cover and list of songs labelled properly buy this for $19.99.... what if this doesn't work or quality is not good??I asked...its good he said...and its jus for $1.80 I thought sure..

Anyways ..playing it in my Van ..All songs were tooooooo good.. ...My hubby heard them and asked where did you buy this from?? I told him the whole story..
he smiled and said..
OK so this is higher and better version of piracy!! LOL
