Fashion show!

its been long ...I had been away with work and lots of other stuff....
Last week was very busy ...I  had to attend some fashion shows as everybody is out with their new summer Collection....
This fashion  show was for Islamic wearing ..A very Modest clothing and very elegant at the same time ...
Today in my Blog I would like discuss about this fashion show which was unique and different from all other fashion shows I usually go....the interesting part was ...How could a women look delectable with long dresses from top to toe!its strange... isn't it??
...it was the culottes or flappers with long flarry shirts in chiffon and crepe...Beautiful intricate designs in threads ....
all the models were extra ordinarily tall and and skinny .....and the length of the dresses were up to the ankles with at least three inches pencil heels down the ramp... all the dresses were in muted colors...
this was a  designer from New York displaying her collection for summers....
I cannot show any original pictures on my blog as these are private shows they don't permit ...its copyrighted...

But the pictures I have posted is very close to what I saw ...The bridal collection was awesome..But ended up in thousands of dollars ...Dubai and Pakistani collection  played its role in a predominant way....

Aqua green dominated the show with lavender and pinks......

Now the best part of the show....all models were called  again and the model who got maximum applause had an auction for the dress...it started in hundreds and went in thousands of dollars....A Sale on the Spot!
These auctioned dresses ,its money went for Islamic library to be  built..which was for a noble cause...now this show was sponsored by different companies But only one designer had an opportunity to showcase the collection....
Very graceful and classy stuff was proudly shown by the designer who later came on the ramp...she was an American Muslim (converted) women carrying this collection..

Flaunting or practically wearing nothing might be a fashion statement for many...But I always felt that a women's grace and dignity lies in her dressing sense and graceful persona....I truly felt women "the best creation of God" can look good in anything but all it needs is careful handling of its character and attitude!

My Best Friend Part-II

Arsh wanted help from me..like what?

she asked me to do a favor on her and get AP's no ...giving me fine details of his residence and office as supposedly the no was changed...

Getting no for her was not a big deal but authenticity of situation was more important for me as there are many fake IDs online and most of the time its someone else ....(male behind a female ID) so I told her to show me some pics and some proofs though I sounded rude at that time but there was no choice..

She did show me some personal pictures and proofs and I was convinced.....

I got her the no ..in a week and she got hooked again... :) but not for long ,her mom came to US as a visiting doc..in a hospital and was here for six months.. she came to know very soon..and then ..another major fireworks at home..

Panicked ..ARSH called me and said to talk to her mom..I convinced her mom that I got the no for her and they should accept this relationship otherwise its gonna be a big trouble ,but I think my advice went into TRASH..

Then they found a guy in NY..an IT professional ..to settle her down..then as a matter of fact..I decided to talk to her mom..and then told her about US laws and repercussions ..its just a phone call away..

Arsh is avery nice girl in spite of so much extortion she never complained..but this action crossed all the limits ..so we (arsh &me) decided to do this if things didn't fall in its place..

It worked and her mom understood the situation and consequences ,talked to her dad and tried to convince him.. it took almost an year to convince him though but ...it happened...

In the mean time AP was in a devastated condition COZ..Arsh dad is his senior (boss) and they met each other most of the time .. its was kind of hilarious situation..(to me)

Last year ..in December ARSH got engaged to AP....she was on her Christmas vacation to India..

..One wonderful person I met as a stranger N now she is my "The Bst Frd"

..some wonderful quotes..

"A Friend is one who walks in when others walk out"

"A good friend will never let their friend do stupid things..ALONE"

"There is nothing worth the winning, but laughter and the love of friends."

..Some wonderful friends, some good stories ,life is full of surprises and every package is amazing only ..some need a helping hand ..be generous and this generosity will come back to u..

"For Sure"

(I am sorry ,my computer went crazy while publishing this blog was so stubborn to accept the text ,if there are any mistakes just pls ignore them!)

lady with a Golden Braid...YULIA

Women has always been a symbol of Beauty dignity and Grace, legendary poets have defined women as best creation of God...There have been women who made a mark and left people spell bound by their looks and wisdom ,they were one among us but courage and an urge to do something unique made them different from all of us...In all my blogs I try to portray a modern liberated women of today ....
One women I happened to come across was...

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko...
Tymoshenko was born in the eastern Ukrainian city of Dnipropetrovsk in 1960. Her maiden name, Hryhian, has led some to speculate that her father, who abandoned the family when she was 3, was Armenian. While generally quite closed about her private life, Tymoshenko has said that her background is Ukrainian and Latvian...
..
After graduating from the local university with a degree in economics, she worked as an economist at the Dnipropetrovsk Lenin machine-building plant for five years.

At 19, she married Oleksandr Tymoshenko, whom she was said to have met over the telephone as a result of a wrong number. He was the son of an influential Dnipropetrovsk family. Their only child, Eugenia, who was born in 1980, went on to study at the London School of Economics and marry a Yorkshire rocker and market trader named Sean Carr.

With her braided blonde hair, fiery speeches and designer outfits, Yulia Tymoshenko was nicknamed the "princess" by Orange supporters.
Tymoshenko worked as a General Director of Ukrainian Petrol Corporation, a company that provided the agriculture industry of Dnipropetrovsk with oil products from 1991 to 1995.

As per Yulia Tymoshenko.

"I love Ukraine so deeply that Ukraine has become my life. Not my family (may they forgive me), not my personal affairs, not my ambitions. Ukraine is my lift. I swore to her once, and I will be with her until my last breath - in any status, in any place - in power or in opposition, outside of politics or in politics. This is simply my life. I have long understood this. And I no longer resist this fate,"
