Beautiful fall season and now its White as snow ..heading towards Christmas ..

Winters..

....this yr snow started before thanksgiving .. its not good ..Super duper cold n guess what snow before fall season is finally over ,, God has his own nature plan..But plzz think about Black friday sales .. hows it possible in this chill .. anywys ..where there is will there is away ..:)

..I m bundled up every morning ..my day starts at 5 am .. hit the road at 6:30 but before that  wear my boots , hat , gloves , scarf , leg warmer , jacket ..then looking at the mirror I feel I m all set to go for war..
Living in Michigan is like living in north pole ..its scary , dark and very very Cold.. my winter blues started this yr soon ..pray to babaji (my lord) this yr should not be like last yr 2013 where we were stuck in our houses life disrupted .. schools closed .. once in a while its ok but repetition make its worse.. its scary!!
..I have given a kick start to winters this yr by supporting it with my pink cap.,.

weather update from US

..Sitting here at work on my  chair and looking out WHT the f***..so cold -45 f..
schools closed ..wind-chill, slush  you name it..Its there..
I came to work like driving on banana peel .. seems like I m going to hit somebody. Snow drives me crazy..and worst when its like haunted town ..
last week it was like north pole ..this week wind chill warning ..I would like to ask God
" O God ..what mistake we made as to you have shown these days.??
so much snow and temp dropping to -45 f is insane "

I was always a sunshine person.. infact dad called me my sunshine.. but see where I landed inn.. like a Nancy Drew in an haunted house ..where none seen only snow n snow ..I mean tons of snow..
life gets disrupted and with so much stuff on you need to have good strength

..cap ,gloves , ear muffs , jacket , snow boot .. its like counting on everything before moving out..
Cleaning cars in the morning driving me NUTS n guy on gas station filled washer fluid which doesn't work in cold..hazy windshield..
GAWD ..hope this period is over PERIOD

weather condition's in Michigan is too bad ,we have winters for almost six months and spring is very short...

every season has its own charm BUT  if given in moderate quantity....otherwise its like this, inn pictures above~!

Snow...(its not a fiction)

its been crazy since last two days..snowing for twenty four hours..super duper cold outside ...all chilled up I am totally freaked out with this awful thing called SNOW...
I was driving back home last night from work ...first went to parking lot to clean the car..it was snowing ..it was like a white comforter my car is wrapped inn..I took out the brush and oops!!! half of the snow went on my drivers seat..pissed off !!..I removed it with my glove hand ...and started the car with heater on rear  windshield ..so little less work for me...then started cleaning programme...as I brushed the roof ,a thick layer of the snow was everywhere on me..my cap ,jacket ,snow boots all white ..I tried to brush my self first looking like a clown ..in a parking lot ..then noticed the roof has snow again ,the area I cleaned ..I thought of doing it fast and finishing off to get started and go home...but it was not that simple ..It took me half an hour to clean..when I reached the front of the car there was lot of snow again on windshield and wipers were jammed...I started the windshield spray sitting on drivers seat..and started the car the way it was....But ..it was so misty nothing could be seen zero visibility..I improved the speed of wipers which were now working...and started spraying more often,  I wanted to take the right turn ...oh my God!! the brake is not working its moving towards the main road ....it was so slippery ..my heat beat getting faster I was trying my best keeping my foot on the brake but it was not stopping ..I will sure Die today if not accident then heart attack ...I remembered my hubby's advice he always told me not to leave the brake keep pressing it the ABS system will work that is installed in the car...I kept praying to God I don't want to die so soon..plz help me!..help! ..help! ..the brake was making lot of noise..but then  a miracle it stopped at the middle of the road ..the traffic was slow ..so they all stopped looking at me ..nobody honked ...I was saved ..

thanks to almighty and some good blessing If  ever I got..I will never forget this.. it was horrifying moment..I had been literally begging for life...during those few moments ...
But God Saved me!!

2010..has been a great year in many ways..some big events made headlines....wikki leaks( Julian Assange)
strange but eye openers..
to me its was a great year...It brought many good things positively..How?I am getting wiser with years...yaaa.

2)the second best thing...I started with a new programme in May..a new launch of our latest collection showcasing ethnic wear... .which was quite successful... ..it was quite a good deal!made me more confident and independent decision maker at the same time.


3)this is bad...its been five years since my last trip to India...missed this year too...next yr for sure!

4)Zeenu one of my best friend getting married....

5)..my little one started school this year...but still in diapers..(teacher doesn't know ;) yay!!!

6)my best cousin moved to Canada as per their Visa problem hope she is back next year with green card...I miss her so much!!

7) I learned to park properly and exactly between the yellow lines but still very poor in parallel parking I skip the store if its a parallel parking.

8)this year I fell  down again (in snow)..but luckily nobody saw me  :)

......hope the next year I visit India...and jus keep up with snow...no more falling and jus rising up to every expectation...

clothes &Comfort...

looking at the comfort I think...with summers and humidity all around..living in Michigan surrounded by lakes ....cool cotton clothes provide comfort......I usually keep comfort in mind when buying something for myself......

Summers with heat wave going up and humidity..cool colors provide extra relief and keeps us breezy!!!I usually prefer light colors during summers.....though indoor it hardly matters since the areas all over are centrally air conditioned!

White dress shirts are my favorites at work with dress pants..it gives a clean look and at the same time keeps me comfortable ,though white is hard to maintain....

Parties in summers outside ....specially barbecues are painful.....its hot with grill it gets even hotter...it advised to keep casual...with cotton dress (if u wear) or shorts or Capri or leggings...with cool tops for air to flow....usually its a preconceived notion that barbecues are casual parties....as it always in lawns...or near the beach!

Formal dressing to me is very uncomfortable ...I always end up tired and coming home as soon as possible....usually we have dress codes for formal parties......Indian dress are fine with me But Saris I give up after some time ...though its very graceful dress.....I personally like it but cannot carry for long time.....I guess it needs practice and more patience!!!!

.....Colors to me for evening wears for indoor gatherings...black and red is my favorite.....Red..I have a closet full....every kind of red..... but good ones only:)....they stand out in gatherings...

black is always welcome but skin color has to be light ....one needs an attitude to carry the dress and colors!!!

For Men....I would say more solid colors subtle and button down shirts with dress pants for formal gatherings or parties ....or tees for outdoor .....but definitely NOT PINK. :)

Its all personal choice and depends on confidence level too to carry the outfit...one has to be courteous in gestures too.....to carry anything.

With summer and parties....its wise to keep comfort level in mind before getting formally dressed!!!
