Its raining...lots of rain,,,
if sunshine makes you happier then a bad rainy day ...how does it effect your mood??
My body seems to function better in thinking too when its sunny ...as well I have more imagination and my cognitive skills that show to my advantage. I like changing seasons though..But overall every season has effect on me
today its raining...and I feel like going to bed...wish I could sleep with my cosy comforter ...
I came at work visiblity was zero...hard to drive ..with my head lamps on..still it was terrible when it started raining...
The whole atmosphere ...jus cant believe how dark and scary it became...
I managed to click few pictures ...as this was something different I saw after yrs,,,
The last time I saw this was in india ....
there are several songs written on rain...many movies and poems...
Usually in Indian movies ...specially murder scenes are shown in these kind of stormy nights...villain with a knife :)(those old gold movies)
then there are love scenes in rain.... getting drenched ..I remember Chandini movie song... or old M adhubala song(barsaat ki raat)...
this song was my favourite one time...kishore kumar (indian singer) where he describes his love story in one stormy night!
..then comes the eating part..in rain ..
some comfort food Steaming hot.....I jus had some fried chicken strips with cup of coffee in my lunch..it was too good for the weather...enhanced my mood and caffeine gave me a kick ...So I am all set for work..
surprisingly ..weather plays an important part in lives!

As compared to summer and winter seasons I like rainy season.
I also love Rain. Just sit beside your windows, enjoy cup of tea with "pakode and paneer chillies'. And just watch the Rain. You may add music to enhance the flavor. You would experience the refreshing taste of air breeze during rain also.
Try it, it's a healing effect, The Rain would cleanse your stress you would feel charged.
I love the "Pyar hua ekrar hua" song very much.
hey Harman...weather was same in chandigarh yesterday...dark clouds and heavy rains!! thoroughly enjoyed reading your post and song is good too:)
I enjoy rains but only occasionally. I find the dark, cloudy skies very depressing and cannot focus on my work. It has a very clear impact on my functioning. I love my sunshine, and Bangalore weather has the best summers. Also, one of my favorite songs is "Rimjhim gire saawan."

@thinking..
yes it does..winters in michigans are worst..I get scared.
Enjoying an rainy evening with a sizzling hot cup of coffee with onion pakode is simply superb..but equally a bit nuisance as we cant wear cool cottons..
Weather affects women more than it affects men, I guess.
As I read your post, Gurgaon is all drenched. the traffic here becomes a nightmare!
I Liked this Sentence
"specially murder scenes are shown in these kind of stormy nights...villain with a knife"
:) :P :D Interesting

I love rain during summers....but in winters the rain causes the sky to look all the more mucky and gloomy which I hate.
