YES,I am Harman ,as called by everyone...or Hermen..by Americans.. but sounds ...same..
A leo by sun sign,a compassionate person with lot of zest for life.. Always very respectful to our elders as taught ,and kind to down trodden.has lot of self respect and never could degrade myself at any situation..
Born in west Bengal.. and studied all over India,but spent most of vivid memories in Mumbai.,almost ten yrs..seen best of society and class in life..both the worlds, defence services(Army) and Indian administrative services(IAS)but very grounded...Most of my education is from Delhi and Bombay..schooling and college.. then after that it was Ludhiana... my academics started,higher education..masters and then Doing two yrs IT in USA but still its not enough, I am still studying....
Punjab University post graduate and studin in hostel was fun..lot..of fun at campus...life was actually at its best ..studying and comin home for fun.No I didnt have boyfriend but got lot of proposals for friendship.. My goal of life was always different..to reach at a professional level..
Then came a stage where parents wanted me to get married.. They showed me many guys from defence and allied services.. some of them were samples.. I had refused so many proposals ,my parents were so pissed off they stopped this procedure..THEN AT LAST....
Got married ..could have delayed ,but parents in India always believe getting kids married at right age.,anyways no regrets..Monty my husband is from USA..he is automotive engineer..M.tech works for a french company and dealing with General Motors..more of Indian then American..
I met him in Ldh through a common friend an Army officer ..people usually ask me abt love marriage I did..?No..its very much arranged..I was really impressed by Montys looks and persona..very poised,calm and sophisticated..He came to my place..and asked me few questions smilingly...I still remember...and later dated me couple of times...we got married ...
My interests r reading,music,(Indian..Western and Item songs).. lol I like eating.. Indian desi food... and JUNK...food
Like to dress up..shoppin....not really fond of movies...I like cleanliness..meeting people... going out for dinners and lots of love for kids...
I am a lot towards spiritual side... like to listen discourses...thanking God ..day and night is must must ..for me..I always thank him for happiness he has given me...and ...believe in his messages...
GOLDEN TEMPLE..is jus my favorite place...in this world...

weekend..!!!!!

WEEkend ..was so good this...week..lotz of sun and fresh air..with family and friens..
We had a party at the beach ,one of our relative have a property at the lake shore ..its sooo beautiful..Huge house with sunroom on the lake..and the deck right on the edge of water.. simply awesome..love it....motor boats..sailing.. and to end with a quite peaceful sunset....The party started at 4.pm and we came back at 11 pm..so much fun for a day...
Usually we have parties on weekend.. during summers..almost every weekend..,once a month we have a gathering....We r a group of almost fifty people.. all couples ,these r special friends we meet, as otherwise everyone is busy..We usually wear Indian outfits coz..this is the only place we wear Indian dresses...Other wise its usually..jeans.. or western outfits..
The parties here in USA r quite different.. its a layout..First.. the guests r served with snacks...a whole lot of food.. like twenty of those with different drinks..liquor,wine tequila shots..with lime and salt..men enjoy so much ..cocktails,soft drinks.. and many others like punch ,juices..etc.sometimes there is bingo..or a couple game is played..as per the occasion,then comes the DJ ..the opening dance is done by the host couple on dance floor.. its usually a duet.. and then its open Dance....
But I have seen here people drink very wisely.. and women..they drink like anything..but never tipsy..The laws here r very strict.."no drunk driving"..so one person limits himself or herself..
NO I DON DRINK..,yes many people force me coz..they have a champagne ceremony at weddings and its a toast..so jus for a taste...
Yes I have tasted almost all of the drinks..but cant handle them as I get tipsy soon..so decided not to drink in any case...as its embarrassing.. and women should carry grace and dignity...
I like to dance though ...on music..with friends as my hubby doesn't dance..he is more of an introvert person.. Usually its Punjabi music.. JAzzy B.. babbu maan ..very popular overseas.. Their songs make everyone dance.. We r proud of these singers...
. The dinner is served midnight...lotz of food again..usually..its Indian food...with nice desserts..
The whole party thing is fun..But lotz of work for the host...
We usually throw party once a YEAR and tired for a week... Kidding!!!

Yes..I like. writing blogs.. my thoughts r poured into my writings..it makes me feel lighter and happier as I think I am talkin to my loved ones.sometimes people leave me messages on orkut ..praising it ..but then their r few people who say or think that I am far too much or as women has lot commendable properties..Critically it is said to me that ...TOOOOO smart.. may be men get complex sometimes but then the best blogs on online r also written by women..
I like AB (amitabh bacchan) blogs they r toooo good...

Family.

. .Family..has lot of relevance ..yes..my family.. is from..US.. most of us r from USA..my parents though r frm India..but we have extended family in USA and Canada ..my hubby is the third generation livin in USA..their grandparents came here first and then rest of the family...My parents ..side my uncle (moms brother.. ) and rest of the cousins r in New York..and lots of family in Michigan..these members of our family came to Michigan in early eighties.My uncle is a senior manager in GM and his wife Vice president finance workin in bank.. then our uncle who is a big shot in US."sirf naam hi kafi hai,"almost thirty to forty people... then my cousins in Chicagoworkin as manager in CDW..and rest of the family gang in California..My aunt, wife of retd.. Air force officer ..workin as an executive in symantex and my uncle Chachaji livin there for last thirty five yrs ..An engineer (fire protection)..has his own company..then another cousin.. and his wife.. both engineers workin in LA...
My brother..livin in Toronto,An MBA/finance works for bank loan and Insvestments.. here for last ten yrs..his wife.. bhabhi..also workin in bank.Then lot of extended family in Canada my first cousins and other frens ..living there.
My cousin married to a US army guy livin in Germany to whom I talk once yr.. hilarious.. and sad..as she is busy most of the time...then.. my another cousin.. livin in Italy..
These r all NRIs ...we have here... but its lot of fun durin marriages..and parties...

las vegas!!

my trip to Vegas after four yrs was awesome... Its like paradise on earth made by man.. Architectural facts are Amazing..big Casinos,like palaces..beautiful girls,handsome hunks.. and lots of Fun..The shows are out of this world..its dream into reality... love it..Belligio Casino, the fountain dance with music is sooo good.. Venetian has a walking statue show and treasure Island has a pirate story to show... every thin is soo good.. Whynn Casino ,which is recently built has lots of colors.. Ambiance is awesome..Grand entrance and Bar near the Fall... with a forest look outside.. and bouquets all over the trees..
Freemont street has a roof which projects live performances ...with lots of lights in the way...
Night life with lots of pubs ... bars and DISC... life is at its very best for entertainment...
We stayed in Casino which had lot of shows ..for kids and entertainment center for adults... too.. Slot machines seems to be at work all the time...every age is seen....
