My hubby is all set to move to Canada for three months,to support a new launch...
Working as an Engineer with his team...they notified him saying, you have to leave on Monday ..I was little upset since its gonna be too long this time though mom n dad are here with me...he usually goes for a week ..within US but this is another country...
A very pleasant person,when he saw me upset ...said I am not goin to Iraq for war..its the company that needs help from us and they are paying an incentive for that!!!
To me ..money doesn't matter ..if you have to leave your dear ones...but he is so dedicated to his work that he did not refuse looking at situation company is passing through ...he could have refused or raised his demands ...I prayed ..last night to get a solution out ..of this problem....
He heard my prayer coincidentally ..and immediately told God ..not to answer her prayer ...I laughed looking at him...who usually doesn't pray or performs any rituals like me...
Why men are made like that?

I can totally understand your situation, but sometimes we are forced to choose work over the desire to not leave your dear ones for this long :(

He must be very important for the company-it is relying on him for this project.A thing certainly to be proud of.Three months is a long time and both of you are going to miss each other .Part of job.Glad that you have your parents there and of course your blogger friends here .
Don't worry ,be happy !(may be you can visit Canada once with your parents n kids).
this is called life. One has to take care of all the things and also missing someone had its own fun
awwwwwwwwwwww so saaaad :) HArman I know money is not everything but in these times, the recession and all .. I think Its ok to compromise and we have to give up or sacrifise for the bigger picture..
Canada is not that far, how long is the flight haan.. hey you can go for long weekends ..
and imagine what all you can get up to now .. when he is away wink wink wink he he heheeheh:)

Canada border is 25 mins from us ..and Toronto is like four hours and Bradford five hrs drive...
ya long weekends I can drive ...

@UMA..its not possible for me to go with him..though they are providing him a Suite for family..but I have work here and kids are goin to school..some projects I have to handle..I wish cud do that!
@albhabet..Yes..same here...I been married and never left him....like that ...the reason I never married a guy from Defence..as I had seen my Dad..goin for months of Exercise or emergencies..and mom being alone with us.

Men appear pretend to be practical. He probably does not want to go either but he may not have a choice. I travel a bit for my job and as soon as I leave home, I feel sad. But I went for 3 months - at the most for a week. When I come back home, I feel so goood.
