Cash or kids
......going through a conversation with one of my friends at work ..I was surprised when she said ..I don't want to have any kids !!it will spoil my career for at-least two years..I will be out of modelling world..and getting back to work and shape is something I cant afford as a new-comer.
she is not the only one But there are many not in favour of having any kids !is it due to expenses incurred to raise kids?
To have kids or no kids is a personal choice it can be either CASH or KIDS...
with kids we have to think in monetary terms too..Cause,to raise one kid it needs all efforts and money ...not to forget when they grow up their university expenses and basic needs,,,,But then if we all think like that and jus concentrate on money or careers and having no kids don't you think we are selfish? or we at some point jus want a life for our self....vacations ,huge bank balances ,mess free houses ..no worries about kids or their future!!
we were brought to this world by our parents who made every effort ..to share their love ,money and every thing they had with us ..and still they share even though we have our own kids?where is the dilemma? or is it a self-centred
person who talks like that!
My hubby who has a Boss who is in the office at 5;30 Am sharp ..and keeps an eye on other engineers and staff ..
I asked my hubby "how come he is never late and always at work"?
my hubby said"this Guy has no kids ..they are like fifty years or so..both of them are holding(his boss and his wife)executive positions in different companies and they sleep around eight and had made a decision to keep life simple and easy!!
..do you think they will need no help or any emotional support when they reach old age? or their decision is good?
....
..this Indian married couple we met ...they had married each other on this agreement that they will never have kids they just want to keep it simple and easy going.
when we asked why that so? their reply was"it s lots of effort and money to raise one kid and one partner has to sacrifice their career in raising the kid for at least year or so and then we are not fond of kids"
People like them will have money for charities ,adopt pets or take vacations they will have all material luxuries ..and they try to bring happiness in the world.....But a guy with family will try to spend time at home take his wife and kids ..and keep himself happy and try to raise a responsible citizen for future and growth of the nation.
you never know who is the future president or player or artist raised in which family which bring accolades to the nation.
There can be a debate for ever and no end to this...I have kids and I am very fond of kids ..to me its a good experience to raise and educate the children to be responsible future citizens and it also has its own charm to see little ones moving ,sleeping and talking in their own language ..they are adorable ...and can never be a pain for any mother.
Rest is personal choice!

Clearly to each their own ... but I do think that people who WANT kids should ONLY have them ... 'coz the ones who do not want, when they have kids ... they are bad parents ... and in turn their kids get neglected and grow up to be screwed up! So having kids or not is a personal choice but once you have them you need to bring them up right (which I think is more important)

Debate will go on but 99% people want kids once they have them....some who do not want initially love kids when they have.
Life needs to go on and nature will prevail. People will continue to have kids.
I think it is a personal choice, i mean not everyone wants to have kids and its up to them but they will never know the love of a child and all they will know is the love of money and material things. To each his own.
A child is the reflection of the attitude and culture of parent. Some parent may fear that their true identity will come in front of the world. So they may think like this. and by not letting the kid come into the world, they are already showing what culture they have...
Well I guess as you say personal choice ..
there are pro's and con's at having a baby .. We should remmebr that having a baby bring responsibilities with it ..
One should not have kids just for the sake of it ...
and good you had those shots .. It works like miracle .. you know for next time now :)

@tanvi......it s personal choice..and I dont think any parents will neglect their kids or mistreat them its always situation or environments that creates bad or make dual personalities...
Not having kids is something personal ....But what if we all think like that..unless its opps!!;)
All around us the society we move inn Focus are on kids..their school,education ...and various activities... to bring them right!
its sounds good ..a hassle free life! BUT almighty is one which has some other plans for all of us!

I had read a blog on the same topic sometime back,and ended up in an argument.
It is silly to to think that people can always opt to have children.Children are gift of god.Finally,when they opt,they may not get children.
By the way,my grandson is Kevin too.

again, a personal choice, but like A said 99% of people want kids at some point in their life... it may seem hassle free life in the beginning but you have nothing to go home to... i remember when we were kids and my dad came home from work... we used to run to him.. and he till date says that that particular moment was the best part of the day... he still looks forward to that.. its just now we get home much later than he gets home... and the days we are home before he gets... he is soooo excited and happy!!
Financially, yes people should be a bit stable and can afford to bring a whole new life in this world that you are responsible to raise and raise correctly!!!
P.S. Your son is adorable!! and glad you took the advise and took some shots! They are miracle and the remedy comes from my Internist boyfriend ;=)

Children are gifted to us by god,its left to each individual,but i think life is complete to full extent only with children.
